Tirtagangga in Eastbali
This shot of the ricetrraces in Tirtagangga was taken at sunrise before 6 o´clock in the morning. After that we met this friendly man who was just on his way to work on the ricefield.
Next to the riceterraces there ist the beautiful waterpalace of Tirtagangga with lots of different stone statues.
Local market in Amlapura
We really enjoyed our visit to the market in Amlapura in Eastbali. Ecpecially early in the morning it is very interesting to visit a local market in Bali. We were the only tourists and most of the people had nothing against taking a picture of them, like this little girl at the market stall of her mother.
Traditional Bali
Everywhere you can see that Bali is an island with lots of traditions. When there is a ceremony the people always wear their traditional dresses, even the children. This girl we met at a ceremony in the Goa Lawah temple at the coast of Eastbali.
This picture of a woman I took in the traditional village of Tenganan in Eastbali. She is producing small packages made of palm leaves filled with rice.
Ubud is famous for its traditional arts and crafts. I was invited to have a look and take some pictures of how they are producing this beautiful wooden statues. As allways there are some children around and this little girl was very curious about my camera and the pictures I took of her.
Balis landscapes
Bali has a great variety of landscapes. The picture of the coast was taken in front of our accomodation in Eastbali in the morning. The one with the scooter and sunbeams on a street in the mountains on our way to the lake Batur.
