The Faroe Islands

We had a one week stopover on the Faroe Islands on our way to Iceland with the ferry. So we had seven days to explore this small but beautiful group of islands in the Atlantic. As one week is still not enough time to visit all of the islands we focused on the main islands that you can reach by bridges or undersea tunnels. The Faroe islands are definitely a paradise for nature lovers, hikers and photographers. Nevertheless this hidden gem in the Atlantic with it´s beautiful green landscape and stunning waterfalls is still not visited by many tourists.
